  Our journey into the world of family history started in April 2003 when I said to my wife "I really don't know much about my Dad". "You know more than you think" was her reply and she started searching the house for information.

                I knew that I had his Service record from WW II in the Royal Navy and later in the Royal Navy Reserve, and Lyn found a newspaper cutting about his wedding, also his birth, wedding and death certificates.

We were bitten by the family history bug and at the start of a fascinating journey that is by no means over yet.

I doubt if it ever will be.
