   Redman, Ramsden, Ramsden Redman and Redman Ramsden :-

     This mix of names seems to come from the Kildwick area of Yorkshire when John Redman who was born abt. 1735 had three children with

     Alice Ramsden born abt.1752 As yet I cannot find a marriage between them, but according to the Kildwick Parish Records the three children John, Margaret and Robert were all baptised on 24th September 1797.

Joseph 1st son of Alice of Cowling & John Redman reputed father a Schoolmaster. Born 1783 Baptised 24-9-1797

Robert 2nd Son of Alice of Cowling a Spinster & John Redman Born 1787 Baptised 24-9-1797

Margarett 1st daughter of Alice & John Redman Reputed father Born 1878 Baptised 24-9-1997
